I hope you all had a fantastic break! I had a restful and exciting break but I am so happy to be back!

Did anyone make a New Years resolution? I know they are often hard to keep (I know this FIRST hand) but this year I am going to make a tangible New Years resolution that will not only benefit me but it will [most importantly] benefit the readers at my school and beyond. I plan to read 100 books this year. Whew! That seems like a tall order! I was inspired by my former fearless leader Dr. Leigh Ann Jones who has also made this goal for herself. Check out her post here

I am so excited about this challenge! If you want to follow the books I read or see how far I am in my challenge, check out my GoodReads site here. If you have any suggestions please let me know!

I hope you have a wonderful New Year! Happy reading! :)

Have I ever commented on your blog before? I can't remember. More of a lurker than commenter, though that is one of my goals this year. Comment more! And see? It's the 2nd and I'm being successful. So far. ;]

Just wanted to say hello and good luck on your goal. My goal is 400 but I'm thinking about lowering it because last year I felt like I was flying through lots of books just to get them done and get on to the next one. Want to take more time to enjoy them this year.

Favorite book from last week ... probably Peter Nimble. Took me a while to get started but then it was so good!

Hehe! I am a lurker, too! Thank you so much for posting a comment! I love comments!

I'm so glad that you mentioned how you lowered your goal so that you can enjoy the books you read. I thought about raising my goal, too, but I didn't think that I would be able to truly get the meat out of the book if I was flying through it to move on to the next. Maybe next year I will raise my goal but this is a great start. So far, my favorite book on my goal list is Saving CeeCee Honeycutt. I read it for my staff book club and loved it! It's a very good adult read!

Good luck on your goal! Please feel free to stop by any time to comment!!! I hope you have a great week! Good luck!! :)
