Preschool Story Time is Almost Here!!

Attention Cockrell Community! 

If you have a Cockrell student AND a wee one, please join the us in the Cockrell library for a weekly story time starting Wednesday, September 20th from 10:00-10:30. We will hear great stories, sing songs, and work on some fun activities. Our Wee Readers will even be able to check out their own books, too!

2. Book Fair Previews & Shopping Days: Come one come all! International Dot Day is Coming Soon!

Thursday, September 15^th is International Dot Day! This is a celebration of imagination and creativity across the globe. Students in Kinder & 1^st grades will hear The Dot story by PeterH. Reynolds and will be able to make their mark by creating their own dots during their library times. To spread the word about creativity, Kinder & 1st grade students (ALL are welcome, too!) are encouraged to wear dots, too. FunTime is supposed to raise students' standardized test scores. Instead, it's driving everyone crazy. The students turn to Origami Yoda for help.
