I am so excited to be able to share these two books of the day! I just LOVE Amy Krouse Rosenthal! If you love quirky, silly, & clever books, then these books are just your size. Check them out! Happy reading!
Spoon begins to feel that he is unimportant and Fork, Knife, and Chopsticks are better off than he is. He complains to his mother about all the things they can do and he can't. Mother points out to him all the fun things that he can do that his friends can't.
A pair of chopsticks gets separated, but after some traumatic moments the two friends eventually learn to stand on their own.

Attention all Sonntag Readers! The Six Flags Read to Succeed program has arrived again and is in full swing! You should have received your parent letter as well as your reading logs. If you need another copy, please see your teacher or stop by the library at any time.
It's simple! Read for 6 hours or 360 minutes, track your reading minutes on your log, have your parents sign your log, and return your log to your teacher on or before the due date.
All completed & signed reading logs are due to your teacher by Tuesday, February 19th in order to receive your FREE Six Flags ticket (one per student/log & Sonntag students only). No exceptions on late logs can be made because of the rules set forth by Six Flags.
Please note that it takes a few weeks for the tickets to be processed. The tickets usually arrive by May. If you have any questions or need a new copy of the official reading log, please email Mrs. Mattei at matteie@friscoisd.org or click here for more information. Happy reading! :)
