6 Flags Read to Succeed is Here!



Starting Tuesday, January 25th, your child will be able to log his/her reading minutes in order to earn a ticket to 6 Flags Over Texas using the reading log that is sent home in your child's daily folder. Students must read a minimum of 6 hours, or 360 minutes, in order to qualify for a ticket. Parents must initial the reading log every time the student reads. Sonntag student logs are due back to teachers on or before Friday, February 25th in order to be eligible. If you have any questions or need a new log, please email Erin Mattei, the Sonntag librarian, at matteie@friscoisd.org.

Looking to Celebrate Something? How About 100 Somethings?


Calling All Bluebonnet Readers!!!

On Friday, January 28th, Sonntag Bluebonnet Readers will be able to cast their vote to help other students around Texas pick the best book on the Texas Bluebonnet Award reading list.
*Enter clapping by Mrs. Mattei...Hehe!*To participate, students must turn in their 5 Bluebonnet Buzzes to the library before the day of voting. If you don't make the deadline, don't fret! You may still read, read, read those books to be a part of the Bluebonnet Bash that will be held towards the end of the year. Check out the Texas Library Association website for more details and a list of the books that comprise the current list. Happy reading! :)
