Dear Friends, I have found clever little book for the cleaver young reader!

Don't you love it when you find a snazzy prize in your favorite cereal box? I do! Well, Dear Friends, I found this 'prize' on the shelves of the library last week and I simply had to share with you!

The book is called Dying to Meet You: 43 Old Cemetery Road: Book 1 by Kate Klise and illustrated by M. Sarah Klise. Don't let the title fool you. This is not a scary book by any stretch (quite the opposite actually).

When the best-selling mystery book writer Ignatius B. Grumply attempts to search for the perfect getaway to write his long-awaited novel, he discovers that he will not be able to find the peace he desires. Instead, he finds himself in the middle of an old mansion with a little boy, a cat, and a very temperamental ghost! It is a quirky story that will keep you laughing from beginning to the end.

I loved this story and cannot wait to see the next chapter in this series. Be on the look out for Over My Dead Body: Dying to Meet You: Book 2 coming to a library shelf near you! Happy reading, Dear Friends!

P.S. Check out other books by Kate Klise and M. Sarah Klise at their website!

Dear Friends, I think this is going to be the beginning of a beautiful journey...

Greetings, Dear Friends! Welcome to my little, bitty book blog! My name is Mrs. Mattei and I am the librarian at Sonntag Elementary. I am a rookie librarian and am excited about the journey that is unfolding ahead of me. My passion is teaching children the love of learning and just plain getting lost in a good book.

I hope that by reading this blog, whether you are a parent, a student, or somewhere in between, you will be inspired to live, laugh, and read! I'm so glad that you are here, Dear Friends!
